Working in Bristol
The centre, Clifton, and the harbourside are slow by car and quick on foot or by bicycle, and surveillance there is staffed to match. The North Fringe business parks at Aztec West and Filton, the Temple Quay financial district, and the M4 and M5 corridors are vehicle work, and a subject who works at one and lives in Bath or Portishead will need both in the same day.
The aerospace, technology, and financial-services employers in and around the city bring screening, workplace, and due diligence instructions; the two universities bring their own. Reports are prepared for the Civil and Family Justice Centre on Redcliff Street and the regional Employment Tribunal, and where a Welsh element is involved through Newport, the framework is the same on both sides of the bridge.
Fieldwork, staffing, and travel
Surveillance in Bristol, Bath, and the South West is quoted per operative per day or half-day, with the number of operatives and the reason for it stated in the quote. Fieldwork is staffed from the area wherever possible so that travel is not on your bill. Where it cannot be, travel and any overnight stay are listed as disbursements at cost on the quote before you agree it, and are never added afterwards. If proceedings follow
Reports are prepared for disclosure whether or not you expect to use them. Where a matter in Bristol reaches a court or tribunal, the hearing will usually be at one of the following, and a witness statement and attendance are provided at the fees agreed for that stage.
